SHOCK Class #13-2 begins September 30th.  Deputies from the Youth Services Unit will be contacting schools in the next few weeks to identify students who may benefit from participation in this program.

SHOCK is an intervention program for Sacramento County youth (ages 12-17), conducted at the Sacramento Sheriff’s Academy.  Beginning this Fall, we are very pleased to have the services of two agencies, the Sacramento Children’s Home (SCH) and Terra Nova Counseling.  Both of these youth serving agencies will be on hand each week to offer evidence-based programs and counseling.  This is a tremendous resource for our students, parents, and school staff.

If you are interested in learning more, feel free to call 916.333-6464 ext. 3106 or CLICK HERE to be directed to our Intervention & Prevention page.
