It Pays to Share

January 6, 2015 / msaigeon / General Interest | Sheriff’s Community Impact Program

As SCIP prepares to ramp up our social media presence in 2015, we wanted to get the word out about how important it is to Follow, Share, Retweet, Favorite, and/or Connect, whenever you view one of our posts.  Sharing a Facebook post is especially good as it quickly expands our reach to a lot of people in the social media world.

We work hard to keep our Facebook and Twitter page up-to-date and hope you enjoy seeing the photos from the many programs, activities, and events, SCIP delivers to students in our community.

Kate Moore is a Multimedia Director for Uptown Studios.  She wrote a Blog back in June, 2013, called Tweeting for a Cause.

                                       |   “Engage with them [Your favorite non-profit] using social media to help them on their mission to make the world a better place.”  -Kate Moore

Kate explained how a Facebook share is worth $14 and a Facebook like is worth $8.

Based on Kate’s Blog, it pays to share.  We hope you agree.

RT @SheriffMarshak Not the posters we like hanging in our office, but we cannot bury our face in the sand on this issue. We must raise awareness. @TheIACP @GLFOP @NationalSheriff @COPSOffice #SuicideAwareness pic.twitter.com/inyW…
