Say Something – Do Something

May 4, 2013 / Brent Stromberg / General Interest | Sheriff’s Community Impact Program

Say Something – Do Something is exactly what Lisa Ford-Berry is doing.  Lisa is the Founder of Brave Society.  She is passionate about her efforts to bring bullying awareness to every home where parents and children reside in America.

SCIP’S mission is to foster productive citizens.  All of our programs/activities teach life skills that encourages our youth to be more civic-minded.  SCIP supports Brave Society and we were pleased to read their latest success story from this past week.

Senator Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana) has authored SB231, a measure that establishes the California Bullying and Peer Abuse Hotline – It recently unanimously passed the Senate Education Committee.
