Toy Drive Thank You

December 9, 2013 / msaigeon / Events | Sheriff’s Community Impact Program | Sacramento, CA

O2013 Tree Lighting Event n behalf of our Board of Directors I wanted to say thank you to everyone who donated a new, unwrapped toy at the 7th Annual Tree Lighting Event last Saturday, December 7th.   All the toys donated go directly to the Sheriff’s Toy Project and will greatly help them fulfill the wish list of so many Arden-Arcade families this holiday season.  We anticipate helping over 300 families this season and each one of those toys donated will undoubtedly bring a smile to a child’s face… THANK YOU.

Our toy drive was made possible because of the efforts of Sacramento Metro Fire Battalion Chief Steve Turner, Melinda Eppler, who is the Executive Director for the Fulton Avenue Association, and of course, Josh Paul, Owner of the Chick-fil-A restaurant, located on Alta Arden Way.  We love being out in the community and we anticipate doing another toy drive again next holiday season.
